The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Center for Portuguese Studies and Culture / Tagus Press is a multidisciplinary international studies and outreach unit dedicated to the study of the language, literatures and cultures of the Portuguese-speaking world. Working in close partnership with the Department of Portuguese and the Ferreira-Mendes Portuguese-American Archives, it is the oldest of these units devoted to Portuguese at UMass Dartmouth.

A Childrens History of Portugal

Please join Casa da Saudade branch library for a Children's Bilingual Storytime on Saturday, August 12th AND 26th at 2:00pm.

The library is located at 58 Crapo Street, New Bedford. 

The Center for Portuguese Studies and Culture will be there on August 26th at 2:00pm to read a few excerpts from our new book: "A Children's History of Portugal".  There  will be a  craft project afterwards.

We will have copies of "A Children's History of Portugal" available for purchase at $10 each.  Cash or check only.
