The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Center for Portuguese Studies and Culture is a multidisciplinary international studies and outreach unit dedicated to the study of the language, literatures and cultures of the Portuguese-speaking world. Working in close partnership with the Department of Portuguese and the Ferreira-Mendes Portuguese-American Archives, it is the oldest of these units devoted to Portuguese at UMass Dartmouth.

A Childrens History of Portugal

The very recent A Children's History of Portugal, published by the UMass Dartmouth Center for Portuguese Studies, is at a promotional suggested donation of $10 (as opposed to the regular price of $20) at the booth of the Casa dos Açores da Nova Inglaterra (CANI), Holy Ghost Feasts in Fall River this Saturday until midnight and this Sunday from 10am to midnight. This offer will not last. Happy Holy Ghost Feasts!
