About the Author

João Paulo Cuenca is the author of Body Present (2003) and The Mastroianni Day (2007). He was selected by Granta for The Best of Young Brazilian Novelists and was named one of the 39 highest profile Latin American writers under the age of 39 by the Hay Festival and the organizers of the Bogotá World Book Capital. He writes a weekly column for O Globo.

Elizabeth Lowe is professor and director of the Center for Translation Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana - Champaign.
